A day trip is quite a normal thing for Nova Scotia, so while my dad, Terry (Stepmom) and I were driving to Liverpool we decided to stop into Mahone Bay for a little treat. We had lunch at a small cafe on their patio, and Terry and I had these massive Lattes. My sandwich was a cranberry, brie cheese, and apple panini and it was delish!
After lunch we walked around a market, popped into some shops, and I treated myself to a new posh handbag.
On our way out of Liverpool a few days later we stopped in Lunenburg for lunch, and even though we just had subway it was still lovely. We went by the water to eat, and the view was incredible.
Day trips have always been one of my favourite things growing up, and getting to share a few with my dad and Terry while they’re in Canada has been amazing. The scenery in Nova Scotia always takes my breath away, and sometimes makes me question why I ever left. (I had to get an industry job, that’s why!!)
