Thursday afternoon before Lori and I cooked our early thanksgiving meal at my place, we decided to visit Knox Mountain. We were told this is a tourist attraction and a must see if you’re in Kelowna. Everyone was right, because again the view was just incredible. I really don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this view, and I’ll probably talk about it a lot on this blog, so get ready.
We drove up the mountain, but you can walk, bike, run, or really anything you want. At the top there was a little lookout where we met two young people who told us about different things we needed to do. These two were from Winnipeg and Toronto, and said they never want to move again, and I feel like I’m in the same boat.
I’ve made a goal for myself, which is in a year I will be able to run the whole mountain from the bottom to the top. It’s around 5km I’m told, and I’ve run 5km before, just not up a mountain! I’ll keep you all posted on that one.
There is no wifi in the forest, but I promise you, you’ll find a better connection.
