On Thursday, the final day Lori was here we drove down the highway 15 minutes to a small town called Peachland. We went to the cafe Bliss Bakery and had lunch outside on the sidewalk, facing the Okanagan Lake.
I had the tomato spinach soup with a grilled cheese, and a caramel macchiato. The food tasted incredible, especially the soup. After lunch we walked down the road, and went into a few shops. On our way back we stopped back at the bakery and picked up some baked goods for a treat. I got a lemon meringue tart, it just looked too good to pass up!
The best part of the day was finding out there’s a Bliss Bakery by my office so I know where I’ll be getting my coffees/lunches during my work days!
If there’s a whisk, there’s a way.
