My “Sunday” routine may be a bit different than yours, since I don’t actually have Sunday off. At work right now I am the weekend journalist, so I work over the weekend and I have Tuesday and Wednesday off.
My Wednesday is my Sunday so this is what I get up to during my weekend.
After cleaning my house and doing my laundry it is time to pamper myself. I usually put a face mask on and watch Gilmore Girls until it is time to take it off. After I take it off I’ll hop into the shower and exfoliate my skin and put my weekly hair mask in to help strengthen and grow my hair out.
Then I’ll curl up in my favourite pyjamas after and drink a chai latte and read some of my book.
Sunday is for comfort food so if I’m not eating pizza I’ll try to stick to something semi healthy but yummy too. For dessert I ALWAYS have popcorn.
In the evening I cuddle up with my cat Obi, light a candle and watch some more Gilmore Girls. It’s my all time favourite show and it makes me so happy watching it.
Before heading to bed I’ll do some yoga to calm my mind and mellow me out.
Before hitting my pillow I’ll spray my bedtime pillow spray. I’ll close my eyes and get my beauty sleep, before waking up early for work the next day.
Weekends are my favourite because it is time that you can use to pamper yourself and you have the ability to have “you” time. I think “you” time is so important. It helps you connect with your mind, your thoughts, and what you want out of your day and life.
